Moving Supplies

I'm sure that most of you have given up on this blog, but it has not been abandoned. I was simply swamped with moving chores. I have now unpacked most of the boxes and can breath easy in middle-of-no-where Pennsylvania. Just in case any of you are preparing for a cross-country move, I've compiled a list of a few must-have moving supplies.

1. Lots of boxes2. Mr. Clean Magic Erasers
3. Super glue for the moving casualties4. Wood glue for the other moving casualties
5. Expert packing friends (you know who you are)
On a somewhat related note, I am running out of bookshelf space. Our three small shelves are basically full of books, but I still have to find a place for all these remaining books. Nat wants to save our money to buy some nice Amish bookshelves (and do who-knows-what with all these books in the meantime). I think I'll go insane if I don't find a place for all these books soon. ;)

What!?!? You're already there and moved in!??! That was quick - at least it seemed that way from this end. They don't have DI out there, huh? One of the best things I learned in my great BYU Home Ec classes was "Never be afraid to give away a big book." Now if I could just get my husband to buy into that...He dreams of having a home library with books floor to ceiling. I can imagine that you have the same dream. Good luck! We miss you already!

You're doing pretty well if you're already mostly unpacked! I'm impressed! It's too bad that glue is such an important moving supply. For me, wood stain markers are another must on the list for all of the scrapes and scratches to our furniture! I guess that's what happens when you don't save up and buy all of your furniture from Target and Ikea instead. Three words: Ikea Billy Bookshelf. Just do it.

Harvey Famliy motto...If you have enough unplaced books to fill 1/3 of a new bookcase you better go buy one quick before it's all full.
