New Adventures

Nathaniel and I received our first visitor, Candace, this weekend (you may visit her blog for more pictures and a detail description of my Wii boxing skills). As hosts, we planned an educational excursion to Hershey's Chocolate World where we learned about the importance of milk in chocolate making from three singing cow puppets as well as how to see, listen to, smell, and taste (but not eat) different chocolates in the delectable Chocolate Tasting 101 course.

We also explored downtown Harrisburg where we strolled along the banks of the Susquehanna River, visited City Island, ate fried veggies at the fair, and cheered the adult rowing team to victory against the youth team.

You can't EAT the chocolate?! That is simply cruel and unusual- must I say it, yes- it is TORTURE.
I wouldn't have lasted 30 seconds. The beans would have been spilled and I would have admitted to taking Alex's pencil in 3rd grade because it was just too cool.
Grant looks as though he is having the time of his life.

Couple of questions/issues:

1. Do you get to eat the chocolate in Chocolate Tasting 102?

2. Why would you want the adults to beat the youth rowing team? Beauty before age- always remember this!

3. Finally, more of a comment- your links aren't disernable from other text- just check out City Island. Yeah, I know I found it but that has to do more with my brilliance in the head or is it brillo in the head?
